A Modern Residential Space with Magnificence

The design of the Low Profile Glamourous residence by Te-Yu Liu and Hui-Ching Chang showcases a unique blend of modernity and luxury. The collision of marble walls and wooden floors, coupled with the harmony of woven carpets, creates a bright texture and warm wooden atmosphere, maintaining magnificence in a modern city.

The floor tiles, longer than the general size, are matte and add a touch of elegance to the space. The imported leather sofas are designed to be placed away from the walls, allowing for flexible usage. The dining table is adorned with a chandelier from the well-known brand NEMO crown series, which uses modern materials to showcase the elegance of classic headlights.

With a project size of 250 square meters, the Low Profile Glamourous residence offers a spacious and luxurious living environment. The living room, in particular, aims to create a low-key but bright space by getting rid of the original division and creating a larger field. Light gray walls and dark floors create a striking color contrast, which is also reflected in other areas of the house.

The pure white ceiling, black and gray indirect lighting risers, and light gray oak cabinets further enhance the color contrast and add diversity to the design. The cabinets, made of different materials, create a textured and visually appealing look.

The Low Profile Glamourous residence is located in Taipei, Taiwan, and was completed in June 2020. Extensive research was conducted to ensure that the design elements were carefully chosen and harmoniously integrated. The wardrobe and sunshine curtain, with their pure whiteness, bring openness and relaxation to the space. Customized saddle leather is used on the main wall of the bedside, adding a unique texture.

The design of the third room, which follows a Nordic style, features a gray-blue and green main wall that exudes warmth and texture. The furniture in this room is predominantly in its original wood tone, creating a neat and organized personality.

The combination of leather sofas, marble coffee tables, and woven carpets in the Low Profile Glamourous residence was a creative challenge. The designers carefully considered the sharpness of leather, the coldness of marble, and the softness of fabrics, while the wooden floor adds an unassuming yet individualized touch.

The Low Profile Glamourous residence has been recognized for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award acknowledges designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life through art, science, design, and technology.
